Leg Test

Today was the first ride of the year with our Sunday morning group, Team POWERADE.  Considering it was the first post-Christmas ride, no mercy was spared.  The route had three steepish climbs and the pace was dished out on the flats.  I was pretty happy to reach Cafe Conti for a welcome rest and coffee.  Jenno and I ended up with 101.6km on the clock once we cycled home.  It was a hot, muggy morning and heaps of H2O was required.  It was also the first outing for our new team gear.  We certainly looked like the real deal even if some of us didn't quite feel like it.
